Week 04
Fears and Launching Leaders
This week has been a great week while focusing on what my core values are. Including finishing off a fantastic book known as Launching Leaders. While reading I’ve found multiple flaws in myself, allowing me the great opportunity to improve and plan the rest of my professional journey. However I still have a ton more to go, its been a good start. That being said, focusing on some of my core values and how I can better balance my life has been a very good example of learning how to create boundaries. Those boundaries aren't just for interactions with other people, but in terms of my own, or in other words, my ethical guardrails. Ive found it rather interesting that all these skill sets align with one another, creating this perfect cycle that we can follow. However there is rather so much to go over and keep in mind, its good to start simple, and prepare goals and plans to help achieve and maintain each point.
Which had tied into how important balance is. Throughout my life my father has pushed how important balance is, and not even with like simple things like food. However what we spend our time on. Even though he wanted that to be something we would value growing up, Ive also found that to be a very heavily topic between the Lord and I that balance matters. Without balance, our entire system can be thrown off. Not enough social time? You may be a little depressed in the end of your day or feeling a little less fulfilled. When we do not have that balance, we put ourselves in danger of being harmed, or even falling out of the path God has created. It was mainly just an interesting thought that occurred to me while reading.
